Founding member Bassist, songwriter and Lead singer! DRAXSEN is now the solo project of Legion on which he plays all the instruments on The Black Dog album.Legion suffers from nerve damage in the lower back following an accident. During this period the band lay dormant while Legion spent his time learning to deal with the pain and the side affects of the drugs used to control the pain. It was a long lonely process, one that continues today.
Constant pain and periods of depression limited the work load of Legion. The band hasn't played a live show since 2000. Legion is very proud of the 6 albums DRAXSEN have released. From the very rough Bury The Past (2 song Cassette) release in 1995 right through the current Black Dog Album 2013.
Throughout the years the band in its various transformations have moulded the songs and has seen a progressive change it the quality of the songs. Musicianship and technological advances have played a big role in these recording as have the characters of the musicians themselves.
Legion would like to thank the sources of help and inspiration that have come through the help of the "Black Dog foundation and Beyond Blue" and of cause family and friends that have been there for me when times got tough. Thanks!

The Black Dog Institute is a world leader in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder. DRAXSEN is trying to help raise the profile of the "Black Dog Institute" through there music, because everyone deserves peace of mind.
